Scenes On A Boat

The last picture was the clumsy splash I made from the jump off the 2nd level of the boat. Climbing over the rail, I went from normal to chicken shit in mere seconds but I did the jump anyways. I can still remember how the rancid seawater seared the back of my throat and how I saw nothing else but the water surface I was going to hit cause everything happened too quickly.

Steamboat last Friday before I left for Phuket. Embarrassing bits from secondary school was brought up, like how I broke a test tube even before our O level Chemistry practical test started and they kept laughing at how generally uncool I am. After 2 hours of eating and force-eating on Kah Yuen and my part, we gambled and lost all our money to Suling who had the right aura for winning that night. Joboy and Wenyan intruded for the overnight and we dissected Joboy's love life (or some sad semblance of it) and only went to bed at 4am. It was so fun laughing with those people again.

Been gambling intensively 8 floors below for the past 3 days. We have now branched out to betting on horses alongside poker and mahjong. My parents are now quite afraid of me getting hooked on horse racing, among many other fears.

I think...I drank too much wine during the reunion dinner.

Strangely, the insane contents of my Warhammer omnibus has been the only thing that has been keeping me sane this past few weeks.

Having tried all kinds of msn greetings, it has now come down to this;

i'm only eloquent in my head says:
"yes hiong eh"

When he got sick a few weeks back;

Bro: Jie, don't you have to be 18 and above to see the doctor on your own?

Every test I've scorned, every other lesson I decidedly missed, every report I only came to take seriously the night before and my cavalier attitude has brought me here. It's ironic how the system I've privately railed against is the system I am now trying to strike a bargain with.

Had to do plenty of embarrassing things at recent SL camp. The kids I was in charge of this time round were much more shameless, and I had to stop myself from hiding behind bushes.

When we had to ask 4 strangers to do the star jump with us. Laughed over the height difference .

What I see during my daily run up my block. I wonder when will my workout sessions progress from daily to occasionally.

And highlight of the year so far has to be my cousin's baby Cayden (all the modern names coming up) right here cause he's just so new and surprising and yes, well, who can resist new born infants?

And anddddd annndddddddd the super massive upload is over.

I am going to build myself the Best Fort in the World the next time I have one full day to myself. Complete with fairy lights, copious amounts of pastries and my penguin books. Only those with the secret code word can go through my gates of cotton sheets and join me.

I want so badly for this movie to be just good enough to do justice to the book but not good enough to be better than the book. Or okay, it might just be enough if the movie is pretty and makes some sense, let's not expect too much.
