At Joboy's 18th.
Today was like do-something-for-the-family day. Helped my mom out at work, came back and babysat my 2 nieces for over 2hours (exhausting feat, even more so than working), then buying dinner for 2 households on a Saturday night which means standing around at the coffeeshop for 20minutes just for a packet of fried rice among other things. Exploitation of youth by family? checked.
The holidays are dragging by. If only we could mix school with holidays. I don't fare well with extremities though I may be one myself sometimes.

so er, trixia and i met up at orchard, not to drink coffee, not to shop, not to catch a movie, but to play Wii. you might ask why but we did it and did it so brillantly that both our arms ached by the end of the hour. i think i pawned her in boxing but tennis was hers. bowling was too much of a joke. at one point, the guys opposite us were definately laughing at us, not forgetting the moving audience we embarrassed ourselves in front of. but ye gads it was fun.

More pictures from Joboy's BBQ.

With the BirthdayBoy

HOKAY. Below are examples of people trying too hard to come up with remarkable poses. I kinda lost it by the 3rd picture.

Sparklers! We challenged who could throw them furthest into the sea,but not before competing who could light up their sparklers first, resulting in slight injury and huge waste of time. haha

Met up with Trixia and Liting today. ALOT of dumb moments.
Dinnertime.
What do they serve at eygptian restaurants? asks Liting.
I know! Camel meat! says Me.
In the end, its not even an eygptian but a turkish place.
We tricked Liting into believing Dickies were leg wrappers which could slenderised your legs and has a duck as a symbol for it. We frustrated Trixia by using the word 'lepak' many many times and not wanting to tell her what it means.
'Lepak' means going to 'the park'. 'Le' for 'the' and 'pak' for 'park' in french, I declared and of course earning a cursory glare from Trixia who knows my crappy ways.
Liting is not a good tricking partner, rendering us into laughing at her as always. Her 'yeah lor' is friggin hilarious.
After Dinner.
We wanted to go play Wii at Cathay but it was too late for that, so we did the reality game of trekking-to-dhobyghaut-through-backalleys-like-prostitutes. Reached Starbucks at the Cathay an hour later so exhausted we could barely order drinks. There we elicited the most laughter from ourselves at the expense of ourselves. eg: Imagining ourselves at 'solving mathematical puzzles' class for our elective class.
Liting has also developed this new habit of accompanying her defining statements with a gesture that sees her shooting her arm out and having her hand form a tick. Everytime she does that, we just burst into laughter.
Going to Hongkong next wednesday! We have officially named it the 'Getting fat, Going broke but Returning with nice clothes' trip. (then again, that's the main running theme for most of our trips haha)

Joboy's 18th
Joey's 18th consisted of a surprised bbq where 3 different groups of his friends came together under Eshlyn's planning. He didn't see it coming so yay, it was rather sucessful. We had to 'lure' him to the pit, remaining mysterious about what was going to happen.
"Why go Pasir Ris?'
"Because Headquaters told us to."
Just some pictures from our HP's camera. You would see some weird unfortunate looking ones in which I tinkered using Photoshop with my non-existence and dubious skills cause they were all too dark.
My favorite one, despite being blur.

Got too tired waiting for the food, so we sat on the road.

They tied strings to the trees and attached pictures to them, all consisting of the 3 groups of friends.

Spent the later half of the night playing heart attack with 11 people. The guys kept conspiring and resorting to tactics while playing heart attack so the girls ended up yelling and hitting at them, and deservingly so. Modern civilised culture didn't reach that corner of bbq pit 1 that's for sure. We switched to murderer and ended up looking like we were in some mediating ritual. hah

And weird picture gallery begins of very bad photoshop skills.

Pictures from the main camera will have to be waited for. No worries, they won't need to go through the photoshop process.
Happy Birthday Joeyman. HAH, let's just stick to boy.

My brother, being inapt at reading, mistaken the conditioner for shampoo. It was only after intense hours of itching and scratching that he realized his mistake. I don't blame him. I bought that bottle of conditioner thinking it was shampoo, in which caused his downfall. Our parents have failed to teach us well.

I Get More Things Done When I'm Sick
Finaleffingly passed my BTT's today and honestly, there's no way around it except to study for it. It's beyond common sense. More like a mix of safety-obsession sense, and THAT you have to study for.
After hesitating for months, I went for my facial yesterday and felt my first death in the making, what with my blocked nose and the lady painfully pushing sharp metal things into my face. My face twitches at the thought of having 3 more sessions to go.
Met up with Cel and Liting last night, and had the weirdest dinner combination of honeydew and banana muffin. We didn't get any further about our future plans despite insistents probes into the subject matter. But it was good meeting up with people contributing to the society cause in doing so, I contributed by boosting morale of people contributing to the society. So, yes. I've done my part.
I just wrapped 5 of my storybooks and suddenly they all look brand new. Love it love it, can't stop it. Yet another compulsion, but it makes my books look shiny so no harm there. Also added new, insignificant and slightly pretty things to my purple walls. Worked up considerable sweat so I decided not to jog today, otherwise it just might be my second death in the making. All I'm left to do is return my overdued library books, which is extremely troublesome especially when school isn't exactly a hop and skip away. They are so overdued, I might as well just buy them now and still be paying the same sum.
In searching for things to put on my wall, I came across my package of cards from friends. Cards from well-meaning primary school friends whom all consistently spelt my name wrongly, cards from shockingly creative and seemingly free secondary school friends, very annointed cards from church mates and weirdly enough, cards from ex-maids even. I may not come across as sentimental or thoughtful for most part, more like a lazy goon, but those fragmented bits of memories captured in paper made my day.
Lucky may just be the right word.

A Wasted Hermit's Lifestyle
"As with many people, Charles, would could not talk, wrote with fullness. He set down his loneliness and his perplexities, and he put on paper many things he did not know about himself."
-East of Eden by John Steinbeck
After days of watching Naruto and basically only using half of my body functions, I went to work yesterday. Lo and behold, I got sick after that, napped for 5 very wonderful hours, went to see the doc today and the fees cost me much more than my entire pay. (I only realised today that most doctors had off-days after 12.30pm on a Saturday, and those who aren't forces you to pay a lot more than usual for their services.) So I'm back to watching Naruto Shippuuden and procrastinating about studying for BTT's. The drowsy effects of the medicine is setting in and I love how tired I feel, as if I've just done something humongous when in actuality, I didn't.

Because The Airport Got Terrorized
...We went for high tea instead of hitting the high...skies. The adults kept lamenting on how we should be on the airplane now instead of being in a car, or how we should be in Phuket now instead of United Square. Grow up people!
The next few scrolls will basically be all about Charmaine, the lil sister of Charlotte (the one who gurgles) They are complete opposites in character and body structure. One's chubby and jolly and the other is thin and fussy.
The easiest thing to do, making Charmaine laugh. And when she laughs, she really laughs and its the bestest feeling to see her smiling.
When her mouth became a machine gun shooting out endless supply of ammo (saliva). I don't know why we keep teaching them such pointless but highly entertaining craft. LOL
The Most Retarded Picture Taken Of A Baby Ever.
My phone was drenched in her saliva after this.
And the fun continues.
A kick to the head.
He made her cry after 5 minutes due to his awkward manner of handling a baby. Brillant.
Met Joeygirl after that and we went to patronise/go kaikai at thieves market.
Guess what special junk we saw?
Our ex-cvss shoes they made us pay $28 for to make our whole uniform assemble even more tragic during the first two years of secondary school. This just proves that they are indeed, hideous.

Found tons of vintage bags/folders and belts. Spotted gramophones and typewriters. Was tempted to buy yet another medium sized foosball table but a row of players were missing. Go there armed in lup-sup clothes, comfy shoes and tons of water and not be like me, spending $13 on taxi-fare and $26 on haviaiananasnansa just because my heels hurt me so bad after going through all that junk.

Went to Vivo and met up with Joeyboy who is currently an obstacle to go out with. But since we are very free poly students now, we just have to meet up. The holidays are making me quite a loser who spends more than 3hours reading Naruto. Can't believe I actually quite like it now.
