Mini Kampong Revival.
My butt hurts from sitting on a plastic stool for more than 2hours whilst chatting with my ahma,bigaunt,cousin and mom at the corridor. 2 hours of really random topics which saw us exclaiming in hokkien, sharing in chinese and laughing in ... laughter(?) At one point, my cousin and I were even discussing about eyebrow plucking with our ahma, who gave sound advice on how to lessen the pain of the plucking process but seriously, who would have thought. hahaha
Topics ranged from thailand goods which landed us in embarrassing situations (me leaving behind a heel halfway while crossing traffic) to the varying level of the driving skills in the family and lots of other important beauty tips a woman can't do without. Then we got to talking about how I would make the worse housewife ever and my mom told me to go take cooking lessons at a community centre.
My butt still hurts but that really made my day. Thank god for that small lane of corridor that we share. Who knew I could get so much out of a corridor? =D
