I Get More Things Done When I'm Sick

Finaleffingly passed my BTT's today and honestly, there's no way around it except to study for it. It's beyond common sense. More like a mix of safety-obsession sense, and THAT you have to study for.

After hesitating for months, I went for my facial yesterday and felt my first death in the making, what with my blocked nose and the lady painfully pushing sharp metal things into my face. My face twitches at the thought of having 3 more sessions to go.

Met up with Cel and Liting last night, and had the weirdest dinner combination of honeydew and banana muffin. We didn't get any further about our future plans despite insistents probes into the subject matter. But it was good meeting up with people contributing to the society cause in doing so, I contributed by boosting morale of people contributing to the society. So, yes. I've done my part.

I just wrapped 5 of my storybooks and suddenly they all look brand new. Love it love it, can't stop it. Yet another compulsion, but it makes my books look shiny so no harm there. Also added new, insignificant and slightly pretty things to my purple walls. Worked up considerable sweat so I decided not to jog today, otherwise it just might be my second death in the making. All I'm left to do is return my overdued library books, which is extremely troublesome especially when school isn't exactly a hop and skip away. They are so overdued, I might as well just buy them now and still be paying the same sum.

In searching for things to put on my wall, I came across my package of cards from friends. Cards from well-meaning primary school friends whom all consistently spelt my name wrongly, cards from shockingly creative and seemingly free secondary school friends, very annointed cards from church mates and weirdly enough, cards from ex-maids even. I may not come across as sentimental or thoughtful for most part, more like a lazy goon, but those fragmented bits of memories captured in paper made my day.

Lucky may just be the right word.
