CNY DAY 1

4Am - Budget Terminal
DAY 1 Macau
Went to the town sqaure where crackers blew up in places , a temple where colorful windchimes were for your taking and the Macau tower where standing on glass floors 60 stories high made some of the adults knees weak.

On our own chartered bus!

Tour guide speaking to my cousin -Tom, whos the In-Charge (yes we run an efficient organization within the family) : So your name is?

Cousin: Tom

Tour guide: Okay, Bomb, I'll be keeping in contact with you... (not realising he made a mistake)

Rest of us: Bomb?? LOLOL

Being the photographer means there's no one to take pictures of you, and I had to resort to reflections.
He brings this routine everywhere he goes.
One narcist after another.Crackers everywhere!
Someone would shout a warning and everyone would stop what they are doing and cover their ears.

DAY 2
Spent the entire day in Venetian spending money and winning money.
Camera battery died and thus, momentary break for unappreciated and unpaid photographer.
Spent too many hours shopping from one high-end boutique to the next.

DAY 3- HONGKONG.

Worse ferry ride from Macau to Hk ever, as if the seawaves gods were having major PMS.
The kids took turns puking into the same plastic bag (seemed hilarious only after the ordeal) and I almost joined them.

Plenty of moments. Funny precious exuberant ones.
We spent, won but ultimately did not kowtow to money.
Lots of wind. Running against it on the 61st floor with bro. Hair whipping face due to it. Hands lifted above heads to feel it.
Change of attires. Loved having to wear my trenchcoat and knee-high boots everywhere. Even when I didn't really have to, I still wore them cause it won't be soon till I am able to.
Broke so many habits. But kept to the ones that matter. Like writing down little notes at the end of the day and reading. Reading the bible, my book and my Lula magazine.
Missed plenty of things and people.
But now, its back to the cycle. Till next year.
