Okay..first let's just get over with the 'formalities'.
HAPPY NEWWWW YEAR EVERYONE!!IM SOOOOO FRIGGIN HAPPY!!LIKE,I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR 2006 AND LIKE WHAT IT HAS IN STORE FOR MEEE YA KNOW?SO YA!THIS WHOLE NEW YEAR THING IS JUST LIKE,SO EXCITING YA KNOW?LIKE,I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS 2005 ALREADDY.SO HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!
That passage up there..?Was honestly honestly genuine.LIKE REAL.
2006 did not start out well for me.
My dearly beloved emath tuition teacher called me up yesterday afternoon,told me he was coming at 10am today.BUHBYE.
I was...flabbergasted.
It was 4pm!!My mind don't function as quickly at 4 in the friggin hot afternoon.
So I just said..er.orh.ming tian qian.
*too much sun into your head cass......way too much*
I miserably went to sleep at 1230am yesterday and woke up at 820am,forgetting for a moment why the heck I was up so early.
I looked at my abandoned math homework on the table and THEN I REMEMBERED.
I tell ya..my heart sank all the way down to my toenails.
From 830am to 958am,I did more praying than trying to complete drawing one friggin graph.(I HATE GRAPHS!!!!!!)
In the end,the tuition session still happened.I got lectured,chided and nagged at.
When 12pm rolled by,for that moment I was the happiest girl in Singapore.
My good mood diminished when my brother woke up.hahas.JK.
Anyways,I reached expo at around 3pm with wy,wl,olivia and con.We went to the metro warehouse sale,kind of boring.The hall was mostly filled with aunties grabbing bras going at $9 or something like that.
After that,I went to the BOOKS warehouse sale!!!Hallelujah.Wy they all went to check out the sports sale(turns out there wasn't any).It was pretty overwhelming the amount of books there were.Thing was,they were all under fiction..so if you were searching for a mystery thriller(like me),you have to painstakingly zoom over the gazillions different type of title very fast to get through the whole lot.I found 6 books after 20 minutes but then dun to financial restrictions I could only buy 3 books.Oh well..better then nothing.Total cost was only $18.I loveee books WAREHOUSE sales.
After that we made our way to hall 9 and we had a SMARTKIDS youthleader meeting.Ended around 510+ pm..immediately went to get the goody bags.hehes.At around 615pm,the gates were finally lifted and we all chiong into hall 10.hahas.Quite fun la.In the end we got the 7th row I think. Atmosphere was quite party-ish, what with all those whistles,balloons and such.When it was time for singing we all chiong up to the front(as usual),then we jumped jumped jumped..clap clap..punch fist into air..raise our hands to God(im actually getting good at this summary thing eh?)and because it was NEW YR celebration we sang more songs than usual.After that there was preaching,sharing of very nicely produced and touching testimonials,performances and praying.The whole fiesta was supposed to end around 10pm but 1030opm rolled by and the service had not ended yet.By around 1050++ me and my brother had to leave cause my daddy had been waiting in the carpark for around an hour.
But it was fun though.Very 'happening' and definately hyped people up.
