JOEYBOY'S 17TH BIRDDAY OUTING.
3 GOONDUS AT THE BACK.
WENYAN- WINNER OF MOST CONSISTENT FACE SPASM.
WAYNE SHOWING THE WAY TO OUTDO 3 GOONDUS. YUNYU CERTAINLY LOOKS COMPLETELY DAZZLED BY HIS ERM, CHARM.
Purple Liners celebrated and used up all of Joeyboy's savings yesterday at Marina Sq and ChompChomp.
Joey wanted to get formal stuff because his uncle said that a man needed formal stuff, (though prolly to get drunk in). So he suddenly had 6 fashion consultants ,though 1 had a unhealthy fetish with boxers *coughs wenling coughs* and we lined outside the changing room while waiting for him to try on his MANly stuff. We moved from Topman to Zara when the invasion of the bengs with colour skinnies started. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!
After getting his MANly gear, we went to watch Rogue Assassin. They should have rated it M18. There were a few laugh out loud funny parts though, like when a Jap dude got his hand pierced by the sword, he cursed 'MOTHER#$%^&!!' with his face all screwed up real painfully. Leo and I just burst out laughing and it explains why we are dawgs. kinda. LOL.
Yunyu had her hands cupped around her mouth half the time and I was battling between laughing at her expression of fright and asking her if she was alright. The violence was a little .... LOUD though.
Wayne somehow managed to co-ordinate everyone into their seats and Joey ended up sitting where he wanted to. LOL. Wayne was real proud of himself cause he bragged about it to all of us by smsing 'everything is going according to plan guys!' during the movie. Then he later 'confided' to me that it was he who delicately pushed and shoved everyone to their places so that Joey could especially enjoy the movie.
(I'm writing a lot and I don't know why. Prolly cause I have got nothing better to do.REALLY. HAHA. Sorry Joey.)
Headed to ChompChomp and we had an ENCOUNTER with 2 old ladies in the lift with scathing remarks and a few choice words found in their rotting dentures. Never felt so insulted for taking a lift in my life. It was funny at first though.
OLD LADIES : I'M IMPRESSED WITH THE ENERGY OF THE YOUTHS THIS DAYS. blah blah blah. (basically having a problem with us taking the lift)
JOEY: EH WAYNE, WHY YOU BREAK YOUR LEG.
US: *SNIGGERS ALL SO CONSPICUOUSLY*
OLD LADIES: AND THIS IS THE FUTURE GENERATION OF SG yada yada yada.
US: *CONTINUES TO SNIGGER AND GIVE EACH OTHER LOOKS THAT SAID .........OLD AUNTIES........... * LOL
(not exactly accurate version of what happened but just the gist of it)
After we got off the lift, the guys found it funny (and a lil pissed but didn't take it to heart) while I didn't know what to think of it. It was certainly something new for us though.
Wenyan joined us in ChompChomp and tested Leo throughout dinner. I had to issue 2 warnings that they should try not to kill each other (but its all love underneath that la). But Wenyan having been cooped up for so many days had many (lame) jokes stored up to share and our ears were at the mercy of her words.BUT OF COURSE, WE STILL LOVE HER. Ordered a little of everything and shared a little of everything as well.
Wayne was once again instrumental in the allocation of seats but I ended up having to see him scrunching his face every 4 mins or so because its his new move or something (super seemingly act cute though). He did it so often, I found myself scrunching my face back to him in response and Joey said I picked things real quick. -.-
Wenyan and I had our 1st annual prawn battle. It ended when the prawn landed on the table in which Leo picked it up and stoopidly 'washed' it in his clean mutton soup.
We had a fair share of makaning and then took a ride back home in my dad's car. I got crushed at the back during the turns when my bro and Leo played the 'let's squash ourselves at turns and no turns' game .(evidently I came up with that lame name) Worse, I could only breathe oxygen which has been poisoned by the essence of chompchomp and SOMEONE'S pits. We had to keep telling him to keep it locked. LOL.
All of us got home in different levels of highness but safely and therein concludes the day. I have missed out many details but I think this entry is already almost way too long for its own good.
happy 17th =)
