Last night; Cooking for 5
Pan seared (stick) Salmon in Teriyaki sauce & Japanese Beef Curry




Wenyan and I ditched original ideas, randomly threw in stuff into the pans that made sense in our heads, googled stupid questions ('How to cook Japanese rice'), rendered the salmon skinless, and slightly over-stewed the poor beef cubes. Despite their appearances, everything turned out to be pretty good. Or maybe my family just found it good cause they were starving. It was close to 10.30pm by the time we were done cause we started late. Nothing beats the shower you have after cooking and washing up 2 pans, a huge pot, 8 plates, 2 bowls and a gazillion forks and spoons, - especially when the washing up was done on your own. *erhem erhem*
