it was memorable in different little ways and i'm very thankful for all those who took their time out to spend time with me.
on the 11th(sunday),the smartkids youthleaders celebrated with me with a cake and tons of smiles.
wenyan told me later that they had initially planned to 'sabo' me but decided against it cause they were nice people.
*grins wryly*
after leaving church,my whole cell (miss lim,kahyuen,wenyan,yunyu,joey and emma) had another 'celebration' at joey and emma's condo!
incidently,joey's family were having their bbq and they kindly served us food that they had bbq-ed themselves.
the girls actually got me into thinking we were going for a swim before feasting but when i came out of the changing room ,they were all outside and prepared with a cake.
so much for swimming.
haha.
but i did swim in the end---> alone,but thats how i like to swim.
miss lim shared with us tons of stuff and we caught up with each other over food till it was close to 9pm.
did around 24 laps to burn off all the cake i've had and the nice bbq-ed food.
night swimming is so different from swimming in the day,in a good way.
on the 12th (monday),it started before my usual comfort waking time which is 12pm and after.
somehow managed to wake up at around 930am or so despite having slept only at 4am the day before.
yunyu and joey wanted to do the whole breakfast in bed thingy for me.
haha
but things predicatably didn't go according to plan.
the only thing that went to plan was how delicious the food was due to joey's superb (tyco) brillance at cooking and yunyu's meticulous and carelessness at the same time.

we had to forgive him for waking up late after we tasted the food.
after brunch (some fancy pasta with chicken fillet,10! sausages and sausage omelette),joey had to rush off to the airport to sendoff his aunt.
yunyu and i then met up with wayne at hougang mall to accompany him for his contacts (apparently very scary to do alone. LOL) and to discuss what the heck we are going to do next.
actually wanted to go try catch '300' at lido but the others won't be able to make it on time.
somehow,we ended up at leonard's house playing with poker (no money involved,only guts and brain and magic .lol) ,watching the funny extended version of LOTR and playing burnout!
the girls totally owned the guys.
we finally decided to go to vivo for dinner after much much muchhhh ado.
after muchhhhhhh moreeeeeeeeeeeee indecision and planning and having wayne needing to go home due to reasons we need to respect,we ended up where we should have gone in the first place--->SUPERDOG.

from sushi tei to superdog.indeed,our brain works in logical ways.
i never knew fast food could amount to more than $70 till today.
but then again,it was UPPER-CLASS fastfood.mai play play.
we stuffed ourselves with burgers,hotdogs,chilli fries and ben and jerrys.
i felt the 24 laps vanished--this meal completely neutralised it. lol
full from food and laughter we headed back home at around 10plus?
so that was the long story of how i celebrated my 17th bdae that i didn't want to tell people on msn.
its 219am and im tired like i haven't been for the past month.
for brunch,its worth it la.
