I feel more achy, burnt (on my arse) and tired but a little less afraid.
Camp wasn't fun the entire way.
But misery made it easier for us to bond.
There were many moments of which I would always rembember and can't forget even if I would want to (the ultra-gay fest).

I started to really want to kick myself on the first day at camp.
The moment I stepped off the train at Dover, uncertainty gripped me and at that moment I immensely regretted leaving the first meeting early.
Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me,but everyone seem to have found their own cliques and the next BFF during that first meeting.
Trying hard to be nonchalent,I read my book and I think I gave off a very emo vibe.

It got a little easier after being grouped.
I TRIED NOT to look dead bored (literally,LOL) and opened my eyes a bit wider and pushed myself to socialize.
I think I'm getting hold of the sacred art of making new friends.
Thankfully, the girls in my group (KUNG FU PIE) aren't the very bitchy sort.
Most of them are random, crazy, loud, and crazy.
haha
The guys helped out a lot as well without needing much persuasion.
Unlike secondary school guys who have to be pushed and cajoled into doing something which doesn't seem to be very COOL or good for their image.
(just kidding?)

The 'highlight' of the 1st day was prolly the NIGHTWALK.
The seniors made sure they messed with our heads before they sent us on that walk.
The whole saga started out at around 1am++ in the morning with them bringing us in groups to different rooms.
After telling us all the FACTS about the haunted areas in SP,they made us watch 'ghost game'.
^&*%#@
This is where the saying 'ignorance is bliss' really comes true.
After waiting for 5 hours in that room (i'm serious),I...voluntarily, out of mere frustration of being coped up for so long and wanting to get this over and done with, raised my hands (wave my hands even) to go for the walk.

I always believe that going on nightwalk with guys is so much better than going with girls cause us girls can really scare the shit out of ourselves.
I went with 3 other girls and immediately the route sent us to the red bridge--one of the haunted places in sp.
We actually did a U-turn and went back to Glenn (camp ic) and asked if we were really really going to have to walk across it.
LOL
I don't dare to type out the story of it but basically many sightings been seen there.
But,we still had to do it.
So we scurried across the brigde, heads bent low and eyes darting about nervously.
HAH,we were sooo relieved to step off the bridge then we turn a corner and pasted on a door was our 1st dreaded task.
Nothing can be harder then opening that frigging door at the moment cause you have no idea what it behind it.
1 of the girls was on the verge of crying and freaking out.

But,BO BIAN.
The moment we opened the door,we could hear someone singing very softly and creepily.
Dark, narrow and long corridors were very much an unwanted sight and now we had to walk along one.
The singing got louder but still we couldn't see anything.
Then ,BOOM! ,one maniacal ghostly thing came running towards us with a knife in her hands and screamed 'where's my mother!!!!"
Our screams filled the corridor and reverberated off the walls.
We ran backwards and stumbled against the wall and then she suddenly stopped screaming.
LIKE WHAT THE HECK!!
This is real freaking out man.
She asked again and again, but even after telling her that her mother was towards the left, she didn't move.
So,I asked,'If I touch you would you box me?'
I had no idea what rendered me to ask such a thing but seriously, she looked so possessed I thought one touch might just unnerve her.
There was no answer and because we HAD to get out of there,I reach out to touch her,but not before being pulled back by 3 other very frightened girls.
LOL

In the end,I grabbed hold of her and guide her to her mother who was freaky as well but not shocking cause we had seen her.
Funny thing was,the ghost was scared herself, cause one of the other leader tapped her from behind on her shoulder and sent the whole lot of us screaming when she screamed.
He said he was there for our welfare after we demanded an explaination from him
....WELFARE INDEED.
and so the nightwalk continued.

We went down dark staircases where ghosts awaited us,stumbled through narrow corridors and rooms so dark you can't see your fingers, crawled under a shelter just as dark, went into a theatre hall where ghosts reached out to touch you out of nowhere and of course, screamed when ghosts popped out of nowhere and right in front of us.
BOY,DID WE SCREAM.
Along the way we met another group of 4 girls and then it was us 8 girls sreaming and scaring the shit out of one another.
We screamed so loud, the ghosts were scared by us as well.
LOL

Lucky for us,after doing the scaring-the-crap-out-of-people thing for more than 5 hours, many of the ghost were down and out as well.
The whole ordeal lasted for more than an hour and it thorougly exhausted us.
HAVING THE BIGGEST AND OLDEST POLY CAMPUS AS YOUR NIGHTWALK VENUE IS REALLY NOT GOOD.AT ALL.

The 2nd day was filled with alot of cheering, station games and a telematch.
I was actually looking forward to the telematch.
Finally, something to pump my adrenalin up without having to feel terrified.
The first few things we had to do individually wasn't that bad.
But things really started getting going when we had to do things as a group.
Somehow or the other,we ended up being the last group to start on our group task.

First,we had to eat a whole watermelon.
The guys smashed it against the ground and when it finally split opened,we attacked it with our nails nd mouths.
I can't believe I dug out the fruit with my fingernails which has gone through who-knows-what and actually gobbled it down.
Then,we had to do the caterpiller where we were to form a line in which each person legs had to hug the person's waist infront and move using our hands and butts.
We had actually planned to put some of the guys in front, but in the heat of the moment, elizabeth and me ended up being the first two and we HAULED ASS.

We came from being the fifth and last team to being the second team after bypassing the teams in caterpillar.
Next,we had to crawl through a very muddy and wet grassy patch to our flags before doing our cheer.
I felt so high and yet tired and pained as well.
LOL
My ass really really felt it was on fire.
Because of the stupid fbt shorts,it rode up on my thigh and left my arse exposed to the rough concrete ground which left burns on it.
Elizabeth hands got blisters and opened up painfully.
We couldn't figure out why we gave so much effort when the pain started to set in.
Too caught up in the moment I guess.

After the buffet.

After showering and wearing our 'best outfit' it was time for buffet+campfire+disco night.
I will never forget the way yo tong danced to 'sexyback'.
It was hilarious to the max--or so I thought.
The 'sheem' event really brought the house down.
1 guy representative was chosen to be dressed up to look like a girl as much as possible and whoever did the whole seductive act the best won.

It was so hard to believe to see the guys dressed in bras, bikinis, miniskirts, makeup and some of them actually looked HAWT.
They did things like lapdances(all on the male camp instructor),deliberately dropping their bag and bending down to get it while giving the instructor a good view of his hot ass, sliding up and down the inst. legs, attempting to kiss the instr.,letting him touch their huge and very fake boobs, smacking the inst. arse and just being very very gay.
ALL OF US LAUGHED TILL OUR JAWS ACHED AND OUR FACES GREW RED.
Spencer was like, I thought I saw everyting but this is everything.
It was so hard for the guys to handle it.
They didn't know whether to laugh till they cry or just puke at the horrifying sight in front of them.
The girls just simply loved it.
I know I did, though it did scarred my eyes a little.
Our team reprepsentative,yo tong was by far the most horrifying looking one.
He looked worst than my dead great grandma and nobody can forget him.
Even the instructor was afraid of him when he attempted to get close to kiss him.
Definately the highlight of the camp.
Disco night was un anticipated for.
We thought after the campfire we could finally head back to our bunks to sleep, but noooo,at 3am++ we started our disco night.
I attempted to ...dance (which really just consist of banging your body to another girl and trying to act sexy) but I couldn't do it.
How can that be called dancing?
Our group did all the unglam things, like doing the stupid but very comical techno dance spencer invented.
I was much happier sitting down and singing to the songs.
Our group bunk (boys with girls) at 512am in the morning.

We left a little early (try 5am) and slept at around 515am without much difficulty despite what we have seen earlier.

I'm not sure what made me type out such a long entry, perhaps of having not written anything in 2 days.
I'm kinda glad I went for the camp though, despite the misery of the food and all.
Our papa(guang rong) and mama(yiling) was great in their own ways.
I also met madiah, who reminded me of pink babe but a younger version of her.
LOL

One last picture in our camp tee and before we went for kfc !

the cheers are still in my head.
