I'll be yours, my dear
And I'll belong to you
If you'll just let me through
This is easy, as lovers go
So don't complicate it by hesitating
And this is wonderful, as loving goes
This is tailor-made, what's the sense in waiting.
FLAG DAY or otherwise known as impromptu outing to orchard with celeste, trixia and flora.
What was SP top heads thinking when they planned for flag day to start at 730am in the morning where everyone is rushing off albeit reluctantly to work and all they got to look forward to is the end of the day?
Imagine being stopped by some youthful looking teen with the wrinkle free skin and shiny white teeth and being asked to donate the hard earned cash you are slaving for every single miserable day of your life.
BAHS
The mood is so not right and I was on the recieving end of it during the whole of 15 mins of which I actually tried.
(Although we were supposedly stationed at Queenstown but the 4 of us headed to Orchard cause we could.)
Then we gave up and headed to Macdonalds for breakfast while many many others were still out there trying.
We deliberately ate very slowly to kill time and decided to catch a movie.
To our dismay and flora's delight, only 'meet the robinsons' had a 1030am time slot.
Went to Cini and it was empty.
DUH
Me and Trixia feeling darn tired after our enormous effort.
Like who watches a movie at 1030am in the morning on a weekday?
help?
Us and a few angmoh kiddies ranging from age 4-6 and their poor mom who dozed off during the movie.
Before they came in,we were delightfully dancing the the dark theatre (i kid you not) cause the thought of having the whole theatre to ourselves was such a new thing to us.
WE WERE ALMOST LIKE KIDS OURSELVES.
Our eyes widened at the array of seats offered and thoughts of what we can do in that theatre for the next 2 hours.
then we heard people.
oh well.
games over.
In the lift the movie continued to scare us.
The movie almost made me fall asleep but the coldness kept me awake.
I only liked the ending cause it was a happy one.
After the movie,we went to have lunch at subway.
hehaho.
But when we see our fellow sp mates still out there doing their jobs on the street, the guilt surged through us to the light tinkling EMPTY sound that our tin cans produced while others had the heavy metal thud.
Headed back to sp remorsefully but felt better when we found out we weren't the only ones.
I like my class la.
LOL
